Our Commitment
For more than 170 years, Baylor University has been focused on this singular purpose: to provide a safe and supportive environment where students from all walks of life can find and follow their callings and grow into the people God intends them to be. Our commitment to our students, faculty, staff, alumni, parents and friends begins here.
Our commitment includes doing everything possible to prevent, respond to and support those who encounter sexual violence while a part of our campus community. We are on a course of continuous improvement, working to establish systems, processes and resources that are supportive, responsive, fair and thorough in upholding students’ access to an education. We commit to do the right things for the well-being of our students.
Baylor will not waver in its promise to continuously improve its processes and systems to respond to incidents of sexual violence or in its support for the wellbeing and safety of all students.
